Job summary

Pop Meals is seeking a Quality Control Technician to ensure food safety, quality, and regulatory compliance in central production. You will inspect materials and finished products, support audits, and help maintain Halal and QA records.

The ideal candidate holds a Diploma/Bachelor's in Food Technology, Food Science, or Manufacturing with 2+ years in F&B manufacturing, and is proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Food Technology, Food Science, Manufacturing.
• 2+ years experience in F&B manufacturing.
• Up-to-date Halal and HACCP knowledge; food handling.
• Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Willing to work Mondays to Saturdays.

Responsibilities

• Ensure food handling and processing comply with safety, quality and regulatory standards.
• Inspect packaging materials, raw materials, and finished product weight/expiry.
• Check in-time workflow, provide on-the-job training, inspect finished products.
• Participate in audits (JAKIM, GMP, customer & supplier) and assist pest control and calibration.
• Handle customer complaints and investigate non-conformances.
• Maintain QA records and support Halal systems; collaborate with procurement, Halal, marketing and supply chain.
• Develop and document best practices and new QA initiatives.
