Walta Engineering is strengthening our Quality Control team and is looking for candidates at different levels of experience.

Whether you are starting your career in quality, already working independently in QC, or are an experienced QC professional ready to take on greater responsibility, we encourage you to apply.

What You May Be Doing

Depending on your experience and position, responsibilities may include:

• Incoming, in-process, and final inspection
• Dimensional inspection of precision-machined and fabricated parts
• Reading engineering drawings, dimensions, and tolerances
• Using measuring equipment such as vernier calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and other inspection tools
• Supporting or performing CMM inspection
• Preparing inspection records, reports, checklists, and quality documentation
• Managing non-conforming products, NCR/CAR, and corrective actions
• Supporting calibration and control of measuring equipment
• Working with Production and Engineering to resolve quality issues
• Supporting ISO 9001, audits, traceability, and continuous improvement
• Packing, labeling, visual inspection, sorting, and documentation support where applicable

Which Level Might Suit You?

QC Support Assistant Suitable for fresh graduates or candidates with limited QC experience. The role focuses on packing, labeling, documentation, visual inspection, sorting, and supporting the QC team. Training will be provided.

QC Executive Suitable for candidates able to perform inspection work, use common measuring equipment, interpret engineering drawings, and maintain inspection records. CMM exposure is an advantage but is not mandatory for junior candidates.

Senior QC Executive Suitable for experienced QC professionals with strong dimensional inspection and drawing interpretation skills. Good CMM exposure or experience is preferred. Senior candidates should also be comfortable handling quality issues independently, supporting root-cause analysis and audits, improving QC processes, and guiding junior team members.

What We Are Looking For

• Experience or interest in quality control within manufacturing, precision engineering, machining, or metal fabrication
• Good attention to detail and responsible work habits
• Ability to follow inspection procedures and quality requirements
• Willingness to work hands-on with the production and QC teams
• Good communication and problem-solving skills
• Relevant Certificate, SKM, Diploma, Degree, or equivalent experience

Experience with CMM, GD&T, ISO 9001, root-cause analysis, PFMEA, control plans, CAPA, or internal auditing will be an advantage, particularly for more senior positions.

Salary & Career Level

The final position and salary package will be based on the candidate's experience, competency, and suitability for the degree of responsibility.

This will be discussed during the interview.
