Job summary

VOSTERMANS VENTILATION SDN BHD in Penang, Malaysia is seeking a QC/QA professional with a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering and at least 2 years of experience. You will ensure incoming materials meet specifications through visual and measurement inspections and maintain accurate records.

Responsibilities

• 1. Approves incoming materials by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement inspection, rejecting and returning unacceptable materials back to supplier.
• 2. Documents inspection results by completing reports and logs, summarizing re-work or rejection, inputting data into quality database.
• 3. Authorize to reject or on-hold the defective parts.
• 4. Provide technical support for issues related to analytic products, solutions and production.
• 5. Report to superior periodically on any product deficiencies that need to be corrected and improve.
• 6. Accomplishes quality and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
• 7. Responsible to take care of the measuring equipment.
• 8. Undertake any other related jobs that directed by superior.

Job Requirements

• 1. Candidate must possess at least diploma in mechanical engineering or any field.
• 2. Required language : Bahasa Malaysia, English ,Chinese.
• 3. At least 2 years of working experience in QC/QA field.
• 4. Able to use computers and familiar with MS office (Excel, Word, Power point).
• 5. Able to read and understanding mechanical engineering drawing.
• 6. Understanding of GD&T is an advantage.
• 7. Able to use basic QC equipment such as caliper, height gauge, micrometer, and etc.
