Job summary

Solid Point Precision Manufacturing Sdn Bhd in Muar, Johor, is seeking a Quality Control Inspector/ Technician/ Clerk to join our manufacturing and precision parts team. You will perform comprehensive QC activities across incoming, in-process and outgoing inspections to ensure parts meet drawings and quality standards.

Ideal candidates include fresh graduates with a minimum SPM/Certificate/Diploma, basic measurement skills, and the ability to read simple drawings.

Qualifications

• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

• Basic computer knowledge and ability to handle QC documentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform incoming, in-process and outgoing quality inspections.
• Inspect precision machined parts according to drawings, specifications and quality requirements.
• Perform dimensional measurements using measuring equipment such as vernier calipers, micrometers, height gauges and other inspection tools.
• Record and maintain inspection results and quality records.
• Prepare and update QC reports and related documentation.
• Identify and report non-conforming parts to the superior.
• Assist in handling quality issues and follow up on corrective actions.
• Ensure inspection equipment and QC documents are properly maintained.
• Support the Quality Department in daily quality control activities.
• Perform other duties assigned by the superior.

About the role

Solid Point Precision Manufacturing Sdn Bhd is seeking a talented QC Inspector/ QC Technician & QC Clerk to join our team in Muar, Johor. This full-time position is an excellent opportunity for an individual with a passion for quality assurance and control in the manufacturing, transport and logistics industry.

Job Responsibilities

Perform incoming, in-process and outgoing quality inspections.

Inspect precision machined parts according to drawings, specifications and quality requirements.

Perform dimensional measurements using measuring equipment such as vernier calipers, micrometers, height gauges and other inspection tools.

Record and maintain inspection results and quality records.

Prepare and update QC reports and related documentation.

Identify and report non-conforming parts to the superior.

Assist in handling quality issues and follow up on corrective actions.

Ensure inspection equipment and QC documents are properly maintained.

Support the Quality Department in daily quality control activities.

Perform other duties assigned by the superior.

Requirements

Minimum SPM / Certificate / Diploma or equivalent.

Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

Experience in QC inspection, manufacturing or precision machining will be an added advantage.

Able to read basic engineering drawings will be an advantage.

Basic knowledge of measuring instruments such as vernier calipers and micrometers is preferred.

Basic computer knowledge and able to handle QC documentation.

Responsible, careful and detail-oriented.

Willing to learn and able to work as part of a team.
