Job summary

High Ace Industries Sdn Bhd in Simpang Ampat, Penang, is seeking a dedicated Quality Control Assistant to join our quality assurance team on a full-time basis. You will support inspections, testing, and documentation to ensure all products meet our stringent standards before they leave the facility.

You will use QC equipment, record results, identify defects, and assist in implementing corrective actions with production teams.

Qualifications

• Secondary education or equivalent; QA/manufacturing-related qualifications preferred.
• Experience in quality control/quality assurance in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficient with QC equipment and measuring tools.
• Familiar with quality standards and processes relevant to the industry.
• Excellent communication and teamwork.
• Able to use quality management systems and data recording software.
• Physically capable of standing and inspecting products.
• Committed to a safe, clean, organized work environment.
• ISO 9001 experience advantageous.

About the role
High Ace Industries Sdn Bhd is seeking a dedicated Quality Control Assistant to join our quality assurance and control team on a full-time basis at our facility in Simpang Ampat, Penang. In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining the highest standards of product quality and ensuring compliance with manufacturing specifications. As a Quality Control Assistant, you will support our quality assurance operations by conducting inspections, testing products, and documenting results to ensure all items meet our rigorous quality standards before they leave our facility.

Key responsibilities

Conduct routine inspections and quality checks on products during various stages of the manufacturing process

Perform product testing using calibrated equipment and tools in accordance with established quality standards and procedures

Document inspection results, test data, and quality findings in detailed records and reports

Identify defects, non-conformities, or deviations from specifications and report them to the Quality Assurance team

Assist in maintaining and organising quality control equipment and testing facilities

Support the implementation of quality control procedures and best practices across the production floor

Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions

Maintain accurate records of all quality control activities and maintain traceability of inspected products

Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and efficiency

What we're looking for

Secondary education or equivalent qualification; qualifications in quality assurance, manufacturing, or a related field are preferred

Proven experience in quality control, quality assurance, or a similar inspection role within a manufacturing environment

Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to identify defects and inconsistencies

Proficiency in using quality control equipment, measuring instruments, and testing devices

Familiarity with quality standards, specifications, and manufacturing processes relevant to the industry

Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team

Computer literacy and the ability to use quality management systems and data recording software

Physical capability to perform inspections, which may involve standing for extended periods and handling products

A commitment to maintaining a safe, clean, and organised work environment

Previous experience with ISO 9001 or other quality management systems is advantageous
