Job summary

REDRING SOLDER (MALAYSIA) SDN. BHD. is hiring a Quality Assurance Engineer for its Bandar Baru Selayang base in Selayang, Selangor.

This full-time role focuses on maintaining high quality across manufacturing and logistics, with CAPA implementation and continuous improvement driving superior performance. The ideal candidate holds a Diploma or Bachelor's in engineering/quality management, with 3–5 years' QA experience, and strong English skills; Bahasa Malaysia is a plus.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in quality assurance in manufacturing or logistics.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 or equivalent quality management systems.
• Experience with Six Sigma, root-cause analysis, and statistical process control.
• Fluent in English; Bahasa Malaysia proficiency is desirable.
• CQE/ASQ certifications are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain QA procedures across manufacturing and logistics.
• Conduct inspections and testing to ensure quality standards and specs.
• Document and analyse quality data, identifying trends and root causes.
• Collaborate with production and logistics to investigate issues and implement CAPA.
• Prepare quality reports, audit records and compliance documentation.
• Conduct internal audits to ensure adherence to QMS and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in continuous improvement and process optimisation projects.
• Liaise with suppliers to resolve quality-related concerns.

About the role
We are seeking a dedicated Quality Assurance Engineer to join our manufacturing and operations. This is a full-time position based in Bandar Baru Selayang, Selangor. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that our products and processes meet the highest standards of quality and compliance. You will play a critical part in maintaining our reputation for excellence by identifying potential issues before they reach our customers and implementing effective solutions to continuously improve our operations.

What you'll be doing

Develop, implement and maintain quality assurance procedures and protocols across manufacturing and logistics operations.

Conduct regular inspections and testing of products and materials to ensure they meet established quality standards and specifications.

Document and analyse quality data, identifying trends and root causes of defects or non-conformances.

Collaborate with production and logistics teams to investigate quality issues and implement corrective and preventive actions.

Prepare and maintain detailed quality reports, audit records and compliance documentation.

Conduct internal audits to ensure adherence to quality management systems and regulatory requirements.

Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to process optimisation projects.

Liaise with suppliers and external stakeholders to resolve quality-related concerns.

Train and support team members on quality standards and best practices.

Monitor equipment calibration and ensure testing instruments remain within acceptable tolerances.

What we're looking for

Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Manufacturing or a related field.

Minimum 3-5 years of experience in quality assurance within manufacturing or logistics environments.

Strong knowledge of quality management systems, ISO 9001 or equivalent standards.

Proficiency with quality assurance tools and methodologies such as Six Sigma, root cause analysis, and statistical process control.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Experience with quality management software and data analysis tools.

Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia.

Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.

Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and professional development.

Relevant certifications such as CQE (Certified Quality Engineer) or ASQ certification are preferred.
