Job summary

The successful candidate will perform routine inspections, document results, and assist with quality procedures, audits, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; preferring technical quals in quality assurance or manufacturing.
• Experience in QA/QC in manufacturing or logistics is advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify deviations.
• Proficiency with QC equipment and measurement tools.
• Basic understanding of ISO 9001 or equivalent frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine quality inspections and testing of products at various stages of the manufacturing process
• Record and document quality control data, test results, and observations in accordance with company standards and regulatory requirements
• Identify and report quality issues, deviations, and non-conformances to the QA team and relevant departments
• Assist in the preparation and maintenance of quality control documentation, including inspection reports and test records
• Support the implementation of quality assurance procedures and protocols across the manufacturing facility
• Collaborate with production and logistics teams to address quality concerns and implement corrective actions
• Participate in audits and assist in ensuring compliance with ISO standards and relevant regulations
• Help maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment in quality control areas
• Assist with sample collection and preservation for laboratory testing when required

What we’re looking for

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification; technical qualifications or diplomas in quality assurance, manufacturing, or related fields are preferred
• Previous experience in quality assurance, quality control, or a similar role within manufacturing or logistics is advantageous
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify inconsistencies and deviations
• Proficiency in using quality control equipment and measurement tools
• Basic understanding of quality standards, such as ISO 9001 or equivalent frameworks
• Ability to accurately read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and quality documentation
• Good written and verbal communication skills to document findings and communicate with team members
• Proficiency in using computers and basic Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to work methodically and follow established procedures and protocols
• Team player with a proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement
• Reliability and punctuality with the ability to maintain consistent attendance
