Job summary

SSS Hydraulics in Malaysia seeks a QA/QC Officer to manage quality assurance and control activities, oversee the Document Control Center, and ensure ISO documents are updated and distributed.

You will respond to customer complaints, lead problem solving with project management, Production & Warehouse, review inspections, and prepare reports to Management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical, Manufacturing or equivalent)
• Minimum 1 year of experience in QA/QC
• Familiar with ISO9001 Standards
• Able to communicate effectively with all levels and be proactive

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee all activities related to Quality Assurance and Quality Control
• In-charge of Document Control Center (DCC) - ensure ISO documents are updated and properly distributed
• Respond to customer complaints and lead team in problem solving and quality improvement plans
• Review and support sample inspection and perform QA tasks to ensure quality control
• Analyze products to identify root cause and suggest improvements for customer satisfaction
• Oversee calibration of measuring and testing equipment and ensure compliance with standards
• Prepare and present reports and metrics to Management
• Attend to ad-hoc tasks and be a team player

Key responsibilities

• Manage and oversee all activities related to Quality Assurance and Quality Control
• In-charge of Document Control Center (DCC) - ensuring changes in manual, procedures and forms are well updated and distributed, and proper upkeep of ISO documents according to retention periods
• Respond to customer complaints and lead team in problem solving and quality improvement plans between project management, Production & Warehouse and customer
• Review and support sample inspection and perform QA job periodically to ensure good quality control
• Perform analysis on products and identify root cause, suggest solutions, investigate product quality to make improvements and achieve better customer satisfaction
• Manage and oversee the calibration of measuring and testing equipment, ensuring accuracy and compliance with standards
• Prepare and present reports and metrics to Management
• Attend to ad-hoc tasks and be a team player

About you

• Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical, Manufacturing or equivalent)
• Minimum 1 year of experience in QA/QC role
• Able to work and communicate effectively with all levels and proactive
• Good attendance, willingness to learn, meticulous, diligent, honest and self-discipline
• Familiar with ISO9001 Standards
