Job summary

The Senior QA Executive at Farm Fresh Berhad in Taiping, Malaysia will support the QA Manager in ensuring the quality, safety, and regulatory compliance of all dairy products. You will oversee QA/QC operations, audits, HACCP/GMP/ISO, and coordinate with production for CAPA.

The role requires a strong background in food safety, halal assurance, and excellent communication in English and Bahasa Malaysia, with leadership capabilities to guide the team at the Taiping branch.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in food science, food technology or equivalence.
• At least 4 years of experience in food manufacturing.
• Leadership, critical thinking, teaching, and communication skills.
• Deep knowledge and skills in food safety systems and halal assurance systems.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills, in verbal and written for English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Good computer skills especially with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing, implementing, and monitoring the company's Quality Management System in line with ISO 22000, HACCP, VHM and Halal.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and internal standards (local and international).
• Conduct internal audits and support third-party and regulatory inspections (e.g. MOH, DVS and Halal).
• Ensure traceability systems are functional and effective throughout the production and supply chain.
• Act as the Food Safety Team Leader and Halal Executive for Taiping Branch.
• Monitor Critical Control Points (CCPs) and support HACCP implementation across all processes.
• Evaluate raw milk quality, processing parameters, packaging integrity, and finished product specifications.
• Supervise the QA lab (microbiological & chemical testing) to ensure accuracy and reliability.
• Coordinate with production to resolve non-conformities and implement CAPA.
• Maintain and update QA documentation: SOPs, Work Instructions, Specifications, Logs, Records, etc.

Job description

The Senior QA Executive will support the QA Manager in overseeing and ensuring the quality, safety, and compliance of all dairy products. This includes supervising QA/QC operations, managing regulatory and customer audits, and ensuring adherence to food safety standards, including HACCP, GMP, and ISO standards.

Key responsibilities

About you
