Job summary

Jora Malaysia seeks a Quality Manager to lead the Quality Department and act as QMR/EMR. You will drive QMS compliance to ISO 9001, IATF 16949, AS9100 and ISO 14001, coordinate audits, and manage continuous quality improvements across products and processes.

You will develop KPIs, supervise training, and ensure effective document control and record keeping, with emphasis on customer and supplier quality liaison.

Qualifications

• Minimum degree in Mechanical or related Engineering.
• 3–5 years in Quality Department; 5–8 years in mechanical industry.
• Certification of quality control in ISO9001, IATF 16949 and AS9100.
• Strong knowledge of QC tools and quality control procedures.
• Experience with audits (3rd party, customer, internal) and management reviews.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain departmental KPI and continuously monitor targets to be achieved.
• As Quality Manager, serve as Quality Management Representative (QMR) and Environmental Quality Management Representative (EMR) to ensure QMS/EMR are suitable and effective for ISO 9001, IATF 16949, AS9100 and ISO 14001.
• Plan and coordinate quality activities to meet Quality Policy and Quality Objectives.
• Liaison with customers and suppliers on quality matters and drive quality performance.
• Lead continuous improvement of quality standards for products and processes.
• Assist in preparing and approving First Article Inspection reports and related documents.
• Ensure effective implementation of control of documents and control of records.
• Provide training on quality matters to other departments as needed.
• Ensure proper configuration management through Product Audit for AS9100.

• As for Quality Manager, serve as Quality Management Representative (QMR) and Environmental Quality Management Representative (EMR) to ensure that QMS and EMR are continuously suitable & effective of meeting the ISO 9001, IATF 16949, AS9100 and ISO 14001 standards. Responsible to plan and call Management Review Meeting. Minute and follow up the action taken.
• Responsible to ensure compliance of 3rd Party Audit, Customer Audit, QMS Internal Audit, Manufacturing Process Audit and Product Audit (for IATF 16949) and Supplier Audit.
• Plan and coordinate Quality activities to meet Quality Policy & QualityObjective.
• Liaison with customers and suppliers on quality matters, monitor and drive quality performance.
• Lead the continuous improvement of Quality Standards for products & processes.
• Assist on preparing and approving First Article Inspection report and documents.
• Ensure effective implementation of Control of Document and Control of Record.
• Provide training on quality related matters to other departments as & when necessary.
• As for AS9100, to ensure Configuration Management properly handled through Product Audit and ensure Foreign Object Damage program work effectively.
• To ensure effective implementation of corrective and preventive action throughoutthe organization.
• Establish quality inspection plan and related criteria.
• Ensure measurement system stability and effectiveness.

Requirements:

• Minimum Degree in Mechanical or related Engineering.
• Minimum 3 - 5 years experiences in Quality Department.
• Minimum 5 – 8 years experiences in Mechanical industry.
• Certification of quality control in ISO9001, IATF 16949 and AS9100.
• In depth understanding of quality control procedures and relevant legal standards.
• Highly well-known in all aspects especially in QC tools
