Job summary

E-Cast Industries in Malaysia is seeking an experienced QA Manager to lead the Quality Assurance function, manage the QMS, and ensure ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 compliance. The role involves driving continuous improvement, handling customer issues, and coordinating management reviews with cross-functional teams.

The successful candidate will have 7+ years in QA within manufacturing, strong audit experience, and proficiency in MS Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Manufacturing, or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in Quality Assurance within a manufacturing environment, including managerial experience.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 Quality Management Systems.
• Experience in internal and external audits, customer complaint handling, and quality improvement activities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) in compliance with ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 requirements.
• Act as the Management Representative and coordinate Management Review Meetings.
• Ensure QMS processes are effectively implemented, maintained, and continuously improved.
• Review and update quality policies, procedures, and documentation.
• Monitor QMS performance and report quality issues and improvement plans to Top Management.
• Promote quality awareness through training and effective communication.
• Ensure products meet customer drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Handle customer complaints, quality issues, and corrective/preventive actions.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and operational performance.
• Monitor departmental KPIs and recommend improvement actions.
