Job summary

CKM in Malaysia seeks a QA Leader to drive ISO 9001-compliant quality systems across the production lifecycle. You will oversee inspections, audits and CAPA, ensuring adherence to standards while guiding a skilled QA team.

The role interfaces with customers on quality issues and maintains rigorous documentation. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Engineering or Quality Management with at least 5 years in a QA leadership role in precision/high-tech manufacturing, strong ISO 9001 knowledge,

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a QA leadership role within a precision or high-technology manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of quality standards (ISO 9001 etc.).
• Hands-on experience with quality tools.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage cross-functional teams and multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of ISO9001-compliant quality systems
• Oversee product inspections, audits, and quality control procedures throughout the production lifecycle
• Manage internal and external audits, corrective/preventive actions (CAPA), and non-conformance reporting
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Six Sigma, 5 Whys, and other problem-solving methodologies
• Interface with customers on quality-related issues, including complaint resolution and quality documentation
• Train and guide the QA team to ensure effective implementation of quality policies and procedures
• Collaborate with engineering, production, and supply chain teams to enforce quality at every stage
• Maintain up-to-date documentation and compliance with industry standards and certifications
