Combi-Pack Sdn Bhd is seeking a Quality Assurance Manager to lead QA activities across incoming, in-process and outgoing QC, GMP compliance, and CAPA management in a plastic packaging manufacturing environment in Malaysia. The role involves coordinating audits, validation support, and driving system compliance while ensuring timely closure of corrective actions.

• Bachelor in Food Science, Polymer Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Manufacturing, or related fields.
• Minimum 3–5 years QA/QC experience, preferably in plastic food packaging.
• Experience in handling international management systems such as ISO 9001, FSSC 22000, FSC, HACCP and GMP.
• Strong leadership, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Aufgaben

• Assist QA Manager in executing and managing QA activities including incoming, in-process, and outgoing quality control, GMP, manpower allocation and compliance checks.
• Review investigation findings, traceability, root cause analysis, and CAPA; verify corrective and preventive actions are implemented and sustained; submit for superior approval and ensure timely closure.
• Audit Leadership, Validation & Compliance Support: assist in coordinating audits, identify issues, track corrective actions to closure; support equipment and process validation with Manufacturing; support and monitor system compliance and documentation.
• Monitor and analyze incoming, in-process, outgoing, and NPD quality data, identify trends, and prepare KPI reports for superior review and approval.
• Collaborate with suppliers and/or production team to resolve quality issues.
• Control documented information revisions, maintain document records.
• Assist and support driving quality improvements using Lean, Six Sigma, SPC, or PDCA methods.
• Identify and propose QA equipment, tools, and training needs analysis.
• Perform other ad-hoc tasks.

Jobbeschreibung

1. Supports QA Manager in executing and managing QA activities including incoming, in-process, and outgoing quality control, GMP, manpower allocation and compliance checks.

2. Review investigation findings, traceability, root cause analysis, and CAPA; verify that corrective and preventive actions are effectively implemented and sustained; and submit for superior approval, ensuring timely closure.

3. Audit Leadership, Validation & Compliance Support:

a) Assist in coordinating external and internal audits, identify issues, and track corrective actions to closure.

b) Support equipment and process validation with Manufacturing.

c) Support and monitor management system compliance and documentation.

4. Monitor and analyze incoming, in-process, outgoing, and NPD quality data, identify trends, and prepare KPI reports for superior review and approval.

5. Collaborate with suppliers and/ or production team to resolve quality issues.

6. Control documented information revisions, maintain document records.

7. Assist and support in driving quality improvements to achieve process excellence using tools and methods such as Lean, Six Sigma, SPC, or PDCA etc.

8. Identify and propose QA equipment, tools, and training needs analysis.

ACADEMIC, EXPERIENCE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS
