Job summary

Imperial Packaging And Plastics Sdn Bhd is seeking a responsible QA Executive to maintain and improve quality and food safety standards in packaging materials and manufacturing processes.

The role covers inspections, NCR/CAPA handling, audits, and QA documentation, collaborating with Production. Candidates should have a relevant diploma/degree and experience in food packaging, ISO standards, GMP/HACCP, and audit handling.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Quality Management or related field.
• Experience in printing or manufacturing of packaging materials, especially food packaging.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 22000.
• Knowledge of GMP and HACCP.
• Experience in handling internal and external audits.
• Familiar with NCR, CAPA, customer complaints and root cause analysis.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Good problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
• Able to work independently with minimum supervision and as part of a team.

Job description

We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented QA Executive to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and improving the quality and food safety standards of our packaging materials and manufacturing processes.

Key responsibilities

Monitor and ensure compliance with company quality and food safety requirements.

Conduct incoming, in-process and finished product inspections.

Handle NCR, customer complaints, corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

Conduct root cause analysis and follow up corrective actions until closure.

Coordinate and assist in internal and external audits.

Prepare, review and maintain QA/QC documents, records, SOPs and quality reports.

Work closely with Production and other departments to resolve quality issues.

About you
