Job summary

Combi-Pack Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking a Production Technician to monitor and minimize production waste, measure output against plan, and supervise all operation processes across shifts for high efficiency and good housekeeping. You will coordinate with QA on product quality and handle non-conforming items as required.

Qualifications

At least 1-2 years of experience in the mechanical engineering, or manufacturing industry.
Must have experience / familiar with plastic injection moulding
Possess a strong knowledge of mechanical engineering
Able to work in shift and 6 days work

Responsibilities

To monitor and minimize production and material wastage, scrap and rejection
To measure actual production output against plan
To supervise all the operation processes during every shift and support teams to ensure high efficiency, good line discipline, good housekeeping and compliance to quality requirements
To highlight any abnormalities, effects or variances
To maintain and ensure all equipment, machinery are in the most efficient and safe to use condition
Perform data collection for process control, analysis purposes and responsible to prepare report on time
To communicate with QA on matters related to product quality and technical matter
To ensure non-conforming items are properly inspected, rework and disposed off accordingly
Accountable of quality, productivity, WIP and safety of work place
Participate in action team activities for quality and process improvement
Other minor or ad-hoc activity or function as and when required by superior.
