Job summary

Ascentec Engineering Malaysia, located in Batu Kawan Industrial Park, Penang, is a world-class CNC manufacturing facility serving international and domestic markets with PCBA Tooling and Precision Machining divisions. We seek a Quality Management professional to implement and improve the QMS, lead audits, write procedures, and drive continuous improvement across the organization.

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Science or related field.
• 3+ years working experience in Quality Management System and document control.

Responsibilities

• Implement, maintain, and continuously improve the Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with relevant standards and regulations.
• Lead audits across all areas of business functions in compliance with ISO9001/AS9100 and customer requirements.
• Plan, coordinate and conduct scheduled audits to assess compliance with ISO/AS, GMP, POR and other applicable standards.
• Review and write procedures and processes to support QMS development and ensure timely closure of CAPA.
• Conduct internal QMS audits, process audits, 5S audits and train internal auditors.
• Liaise with external auditors and customers regarding audit matters.
• Coordinate Management Review Meetings and report KPIs across departments.
• Assist with training in Quality Awareness and drive quality culture.
• Coordinate Document Control implementation and drive continuous improvement.

Job description

Implement, maintain, and continuously improve the Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with relevant standards and regulations.

Responsible for ensuring the integrity of the company's QMS and leading audits across all areas of business functions in compliance with standards (ISO9001/AS9100) and customer requirements.

Plan, coordinate and conduct scheduled audits to assess compliance with ISO/AS, GMP, POR and other applicable standard requirements and internal requirements. To include audit scheduling, investigation, and evaluation of audit observation and findings.

Review and write procedures and processes to support QMS development, analyze current and future procedural needs. Organize and maintain the plant internal audit system and corrective action reporting system closure in timely manner.

To conduct internal QMS audit, process audit, 5S audit and assist in training /guidance to internal auditors' team. Ensuring all findings, CAPA are closed in a timely manner.

To liaise with external auditors and customers related to all audit matters.

Recommend necessary actions to be taken for areas not meeting the specified quality system.

To coordinate and prepare the Management Review Meeting and report KPI across all departments according to schedule.

Assist with training in Quality Awareness.

Driving QMS and Quality culture mindset in the organization. Encouraging and ensuring all employees are always adhering to the shop floor system.

Coordinate and review the implementation of Document Control process.

Drive continuous improvement program including across department function.

To perform any other duties assigned by superior from time to time.

Job Requirements :

Experience with QMS certified operations including internal and external audit. Certified Internal Auditor is required.

Education Background: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Science or with any relevant background.

Experience: Have 3 years and above working experience in Quality Management System and managing Document Control implementation. Preferably candidate from CNC machine shop and/or contract manufacturing background.

Preferably with a strong knowledge of ISO9100/AS9100.

Understanding engineering drawing and manufacturing processes would be an advantage.

Result oriented and able to present data effectively.

Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Possess a high level of integrity and a committed team player with excellent work ethic.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
