Zhongda Shelf & Rack Technology (M) Sdn Bhd in Pasir Gudang, Johor is seeking a QC Inspector to join our quality assurance team. This full-time role focuses on inspecting products to meet stringent quality standards and customer specifications before dispatch.

You will perform visual and dimensional inspections, document results, communicate findings, and support continuous improvement while maintaining calibration of equipment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a QC Inspector or in quality assurance within manufacturing or logistics.
• Knowledge of quality control principles, inspection techniques and testing methodologies.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications and standards.
• Proficiency with inspection and measurement tools and maintaining quality records.
• Attention to detail and strong communication to report findings.

About the role

Zhongda Shelf & Rack Technology (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking a dedicated QC Inspector to join our quality assurance team. This is a full-time position based in Pasir Gudang, Johor. As a QC Inspector, you will play a critical role in ensuring that all products meet our rigorous quality standards and customer specifications before they leave our facilities. This position is essential to maintaining our reputation for excellence in the manufacturing and logistics sector, and you will be responsible for conducting thorough inspections and testing product integrity and compliance with industry regulations.

What you'll be doing

Conduct detailed visual and dimensional inspections of manufactured products against established quality standards and specifications

Perform functional testing and quality checks at various stages of the production process, from raw materials to finished goods

Document inspection results, test data and non-conformances using quality management systems and inspection reports

Identify defects, deviations and areas of concern, and communicate findings to production teams for corrective action

Maintain calibration and proper functioning of inspection equipment and testing instruments

Verify that products comply with relevant industry standards, safety regulations and customer requirements

Collaborate with production and engineering teams to address quality issues and implement improvements

Maintain detailed records of all inspections, test results and quality metrics for traceability and compliance purposes

Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying trends and recommending quality enhancements

What we're looking for

Proven experience working as a QC Inspector or in a similar quality assurance and control role within manufacturing or logistics environments

Strong knowledge of quality control principles, inspection techniques and testing methodologies relevant to manufacturing operations

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, blueprints and quality standards accurately

Proficiency with inspection and measurement tools such as calipers, micrometres, gauges and other precision instruments

Familiarity with quality management systems and experience documenting inspection data and maintaining quality records

Attention to detail with excellent observational skills and the ability to identify defects and deviations consistently

Strong communication skills to report findings and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams

Understanding of relevant industry standards and compliance requirements for manufacturing and product safety

Ability to work independently whilst maintaining high standards of accuracy and thoroughness

Relevant certifications in quality assurance or inspection (such as ISO training or similar qualifications) would be advantageous
