Job summary

Golden Fresh Sdn Bhd is seeking a diligent Quality Control Inspector to support daily production with strict GMP and HACCP adherence at our Penang facility.

You will perform sanitation checks, calibrate scales, inspect ingredients, document parameters, and ensure CCPs remain within limits, contributing to product quality and safety. Join a team focused on quality and continuous improvement, with benefits including medical and dental coverage.

Qualifications

• Basic QC inspection skills including measuring and recording figures.
• GMP/HACCP knowledge and food quality awareness preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily pre-operation inspection including sanitation and chlorine checks.
• Calibrate weighing scales used for daily production.
• Check online printing information on packaging against specifications before mass printing.
• Examine raw materials, processing, and finished products per quality manuals and specs.
• Check expiry dates and sensory attributes of ingredients.
• Record all processing parameters per product specifications.
• Ensure CCPs remain within critical limits at all times.
• Conduct sensory tests on finished products from daily production.
• Collect retainer samples and other test samples.
• Submit complete inspection reports daily to superiors.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by superiors.

Job description

1. To conduct daily pre-operation inspection (daily sanitation and chlorine concentration) that adheres to Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP).

2. To calibrate the weighing scales used for daily production.

3. To check online printing information on the packaging in accordance to packing specification before mass printing.

4. To examine raw materials, online processing and finished products according to the quality manuals/procedures and specifications.

5. To check expiry dates and sensory attributes of ingredients used in production.

6. To check and record all processing parameters in accordance to product specification

7. To check and ensure the Critical Control Points (CCP) are always within the critical limits.

8. To conduct sensory test on finished products from daily production.

9. To collect retainer samples and also other test samples.

10. To submit full inspection report on time daily to superiors.

11. Other tasks or responsibilities as assigned by superior from time to time.

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERTISE REQUIRED
