Job summary

Golden Fresh Sdn Bhd, a food processing and trading company, is seeking a proactive Quality Assurance Officer to supervise GMP routines, coordinate corrective actions, and ensure calibration and pest control processes are carried out efficiently. The role requires a degree in Food Science/Technology and strong QA experience in manufacturing.

The position offers opportunities to work across departments, monitor QC practices daily, and contribute to continuous quality improvements within a global

Qualifications

• Minimum degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or related discipline.
• Proven experience in QA/QC, preferably in manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of quality management systems, root cause analysis, sensory evaluation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication to coordinate across departments.

Responsibilities

• Supervise GMP routine and verify it is carried out; communicate findings to Production and log daily findings.
• Execute and coordinate corrective action plans in the foreign material control plan.
• Supervise to ensure on-time calibration of measuring and monitoring devices.
• Respond promptly to pest callouts and verify routine pest control monitoring by the PCO.
• Other responsibilities as assigned by superior.

Job description

Supervise and verify GMP routine are carried out as appropriate, communicate the findings to Production and log the findings on daily basis.

Execute and coordinate corrective action plans detailed in foreign material control plan.

Supervise to ensure on-time calibration of measuring and monitoring devices.

Respond promptly to any pest callouts and verify that routine monitoring by the Pest Control Operator (PCO) is being carried out appropriately.

Other responsibilities as assigned by superior from time to time.
(note: GMP routine including pre-opt, personal hygiene, monthly audit/inspection, EMP swabs, allergen swabs )

REQUIREDMENT: -

Professional qualification: minimum degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related discipline.

Proven experience in a Quality Control or Quality Assurance role, preferably within manufacturing environment.

Strong understanding of quality management systems, root cause analysis tools, and sensory evaluation methodologies.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills to coordinate across departments, strong analytical mindset.
