Private Advertiser in Ipoh, Malaysia is seeking a diligent QC/QA Inspector to visually and mechanically inspect components, materials and finished products, ensuring compliance with ISO9001:2015, ISO14001:2015 and ISO17025:2017.

You will read technical specs, devise test methods, supervise technicians, participate in FMEA, PDCA cycles, 5S activities and contribute to continuous quality improvements and safety programs.

• Inspect components, products, labels, boxes, pouches and coatings visually and mechanically; accept or reject as per spec.
• Inspect incoming material; ensure inspection is carried out (tensile strength, size, grade per mill certificate).
• Inspect raw material appearance; identify defects such as scratches or wetness.
• Read and interpret engineering or technical specifications.
• Devise test methodology, instrumentation and fixtures for QC inspection requirements.
• Supervise technicians and oversee documentation.
• Assist in product certification audit certificate renewal and calibration scheduling.
• Participate in reject control and reduction programs with plant personnel.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of quality systems (procedures, work instructions, specs, training).
• Report abnormalities and conduct root cause analysis for corrective action.
• Conduct FMEA and apply PDCA cycles for rejection reduction and P3I program.
• Maintain proper filing system and support day-to-day QC/QA operations.
• Ensure that quality and environmental management systems conform to ISO9001:2015, ISO14001:2015 & ISO17025:2017.
• Implement and manage Safety, 5S & ISO programmes.
• Any other duties as assigned by superior or management.

Descrizione del lavoro

1. Inspects components, products, labels, boxes, pouches and coatings visually and mechanically accepts or rejects products.
2. Inspection on incoming material. Ensure the inspection is carried out. (Tensile Strength, Size, Grade according to Mill Certificate).
3. Inspection on raw material appearance, defects such as scratches / wet.
4. Reads, understands and interprets engineering or technical specifications.
5. Devise test methodology, instrumentation and fixtures to support QC inspection requirement.
6. Supervise technician and oversee technician documentation.
7. Assist in Product Certification audit certificate renewal application and schedule for equipment calibration.
8. Involve in reject control and reduction program by working together with plant operation personnel.
9. Continuous improve the quality systems such as procedure, work instructions, specifications, visual specifications and training on quality.
10. Report any abnormality found from product or process to superior and conduct root cause analysis for corrective action.
11. Conduct failure mode effect analysis (FMEA) and use PDCA cycle for reject reduction and P3I program
12. Maintain a proper filling system and assist day-to-day QC/QA operations.
13. Ensuring that the quality and environmental management system conforms to the requirement of ISO9001:2015, ISO14001:2015 & ISO17025: 2017

15. Any other duties as assigned by superior or Management from time to time.
