Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical qualification or relevant certification is an advantage.
  • Experience in QC inspection, quality control, manufacturing, or a related environment.
  • Experience performing in-process and final inspection of manufactured products.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, work instructions, and inspection criteria.
  • Basic knowledge of measurement tools and inspection equipment such as vernier calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measuring devices.
  • Good documentation, reporting, and data recording skills.
  • Good attention to detail and ability to identify product defects or deviations.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and meet inspection schedules.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with Production and other departments.
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

  • Perform in-process inspections at designated stages of manufacturing to ensure products meet quality requirements.
  • Perform final QC inspections of finished products prior to release or shipment.
  • Conduct quality audits and inspections based on approved drawings, specifications, work instructions, and inspection criteria.
  • Verify product dimensions, workmanship, appearance, labeling, and other applicable quality requirements.
  • Perform and document inspection results accurately and timely.
  • Take and maintain photo documentation of finished products and identified quality issues where required.
  • Identify, document, and report non-conforming products or processes and support appropriate containment actions.
  • Work closely with Production and other relevant functions to resolve quality issues and prevent recurrence.
  • Verify that corrective actions have been implemented and are effective where applicable.
  • Maintain inspection records, reports, and other quality documentation for traceability and audit purposes.
  • Support internal, customer, and external quality audits as required.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable quality standards, procedures, work instructions, and customer requirements.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to improve product quality and reduce defects.
