Private Advertiser is seeking a QA/QC professional to lead Total Quality Management for manufacturing processes and ensure product quality meets all requirements. The role involves establishing supplier quality assurance standards, guiding audit teams, and addressing customer complaints promptly.
Responsibilities include analyzing defects, implementing improvements, coordinating customer visits and plant audits, and maintaining IATF 16949 documentation.
To implement Total Quality Management (TQM) for manufacturing process.
To ensure final product quality conforms to principal's requirement.
To establish Supplier Quality Assurance (SQA) standard with suppliers.
To guide a quality audit team to conduct routine Parts quality audit activities.
To implement defect analysis and propose countermeasure/solutions to Production Quality issues and rejects.
To administer the company customer quality program with the objective of providing quality and service supports to achieve total customer satisfaction.
To coordinate and host customer’s visits and plant audits.
To administer and address all customer complaints in the shortest possible time.
To analyse quality trend (customer complaint), feedback analysis and make recommendation for improvement.
To liaise with production and R&D on technical and quality matters.
To perform quality/internal audits and address all audit findings.
To be able to support IATF 16949 documentation.
To establish Quality’s performance indicator and checklist to monitor and measure effectiveness of control.
Responsible for verifying that activities affecting quality, and he/she has the authority and organizational freedom to:
Responsible for the continuous quality audit of all phases of the system, these include but not limited to:
To deal with supplier/customer on matters concerning acceptability of material, products, risks, liability, safety or other similar characteristics that could result in additional inspection and rework costs.
To promote frequent and regular meetings and discussions with the manufacturing and engineering personnel concerning training, corrective actions, continuous improvement process and quality problems.
Other task assigned by superior or company from time to time.
Requirements:
Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree or equivalent.
Required language(s): English.
At least 5 year(s) of working experience in QA/QC field in automotive industry.
Experience in TQM implementation is preferred.
Possess knowledge of vacuum forming process will be added advantage.
Experience working in ISO 9001, TS16949, ISO14000/ OHSAS18001/ EICC compliant environment will be added value.
Familiar and experienced in the use and application of various tools and concepts such as SPC, FMEA, LEAN, TPM & 5S.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office is preferred.
Highly motivated with good interpersonal skills and team oriented.
A team player able to work across department balancing the need for customer satisfaction and improved plant productivity.
Ability to work independent and pro-active attitude.
Good analytical, trouble shooting and problem solving skills.
Possess own transport and willing to travel outstation.
Excellent communication skill in both writing and oral English.
