Murata Electronics Malaysia Sdn Bhd is seeking a Quality Assurance professional to manage nonconformance handling, CAPA, audits, and QMS maintenance in our manufacturing environment.
You will review quality data, prepare the PPAP-related documentation, coordinate audits, and drive continuous improvement to meet ISO 9001:2015 and IATF 16949:2016 requirements.
Fresh graduates are welcome, and strong teamwork and communication skills are required to support cross-functional quality initiatives.
Nonconformance handling, including criteria establishment/review and containment of product or process for both.
CAPA handling, including issuance, progress monitoring, and closure of the report.
Process quality data mining & analysis.
Monthly product quality index report.
Customer complaint handling and 8D report writing.
Related documented information review or maintenance, including continuous improvement on the system & implementation.
Coordinate and support customer audits, certification audits, and internal quality audits to ensure compliance with Quality Management System (QMS) requirements.
Maintain and continuously improve the quality management system in accordance with ISO 9001:2015, IATF 16949:2016, and applicable customer-specific requirements (CSR).
Review, monitor, and ensure compliance with customer-specific requirements, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
Coordinate Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) submissions and customer quality documentation to meet customer requirements and project timelines.
Monitor customer satisfaction indicators, quality scorecards, and key performance metrics, and support improvement initiatives.
Coordinate customer quality requests, check sheets, and documentation received through sales or division sales engineering, ensuring timely responses and follow-up actions.
Plan, organize, and execute annual quality education, competency development, and training programs for employees.
Promote quality awareness and a quality-first culture by organizing quality campaigns, awareness activities, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Develop, update, and maintain quality-related training materials, procedures, work instructions, and QMS documentation.
Support continuous improvement activities through data analysis, audit findings, corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), and cross-functional quality improvement projects.

Possess at least a bachelor's degree in science, engineering, or an equivalent
Knowledge of quality management systems (ISO 9001:2015, IATF 16949:2016, and VDA 6.3); automotive core quality tools (APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, Control Plan, MSA, and SPC); as well as nonconformance handling, Corrective Action & Preventive Action (CAPA), and Horizontal Deployment (HD) would be an added advantage.
Good interpersonal and communication skills and able to work in a team
Good problem-solving and critical thinking skills
Understanding of Customer-Specific Requirements (CSR), quality documentation, and customer audit processes within the manufacturing or automotive industry.
Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams. Knowledge of QMS auditing principles or internal auditor certification will be an added advantage.
