Job summary

ARROW SYSTEMS Sdn Bhd in Butterworth, Penang is hiring a Quality Control Engineer to monitor and improve quality across machine manufacturing and assembly processes. The role involves inspecting fabrication, welding, assembly and finishing workmanship, and ensuring materials meet specifications.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in engineering and has 1–2 years of experience in quality control or related industries, with preference for experience in machinery manufacturing and steel

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering related field.
• 1–2 years experience in quality control, manufacturing, fabrication or automation.
• Experience in machinery manufacturing and steel fabrication is highly preferred.
• Experience with food processing or packaging machinery is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control quality throughout machine manufacturing and assembly processes.
• Inspect fabrication, welding, assembly, wiring and finishing workmanship.
• Verify materials and components meet engineering specifications and technical requirements.
• Conduct in-process and final inspections and FAT verification.
• Liaise with technicians, fabricators and suppliers on quality matters.
• Prepare inspection reports, NCRs and quality documentation.
• Investigate quality issues and implement corrective actions.
• Support ISO 9001 quality management activities and continuous improvement initiatives.
