Jora Malaysia is seeking a Quality Control Technician to join our team in Bayan Lepas, Penang. The successful candidate will perform inspections on incoming materials, in-process parts and finished goods to ensure they meet drawings, specifications and quality standards.
Responsibilities include recording results, maintaining QC documentation, identifying defects, supporting calibration and verification of equipment, and coordinating with Production on quality matters.

We are currently looking for a Quality Control Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out inspection activities and ensuring incoming materials, in-process parts, and finished products meet company and customer quality requirements.
Perform incoming material, in-process, and finished goods inspections according to drawings, specifications, procedures, and quality standards.
Use measuring and inspection equipment such as vernier calipers, micrometers, height gauges, dial indicators, and other relevant instruments.
Record inspection results accurately and maintain proper QC documentation.
Identify defects, non-conforming materials, and quality issues, and report them to the QC Supervisor or QC Engineer.
Assist in controlling and segregating non-conforming products.
Conduct visual, dimensional, and functional inspections as required.
Verify that measuring and inspection equipment is within calibration validity before use.
Support calibration and verification activities for inspection equipment.
Assist in investigations of quality issues and corrective actions.
Coordinate with Production and other departments on inspection and quality-related matters.
Follow established work instructions, inspection procedures, and ISO 9001 requirements.
Maintain cleanliness and proper handling of measuring and inspection equipment.
Support internal and external quality audits when required.
Carry out other quality-related duties assigned by the QC Supervisor or management.
Minimum 1–2 years of Quality Control experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
Fresh graduates with relevant technical or quality background may also be considered.
Basic knowledge of incoming, in-process, and finished goods inspection.
Able to read and understand engineering drawings and specifications.
Familiar with basic measuring instruments such as vernier calipers and micrometers.
Basic knowledge of inspection records and quality documentation.
Responsible, detail-oriented, and able to follow instructions.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Willing to learn and able to work independently when required.
