Job summary

C.S.Yap Metalparts Industries Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a quality professional to develop and implement QC procedures, ensuring materials and products meet specifications.

You will inspect, test, and document results, collaborate with production, and train operators on quality standards to reduce defects and waste.

Qualifications

• Experience with QC procedures and specifications.
• Ability to perform inspections and testing of materials and products.
• Familiarity with ISO standards and regulatory guidelines.
• Experience with CAPA and root-cause analysis.
• Strong documentation and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement QC procedures, standards, and specifications.
• Perform inspections, tests, and measurements on raw materials, WIP, and finished goods.
• Investigate and resolve quality issues and product non-conformances.
• Ensure compliance with ISO standards, customer requirements, and regulatory guidelines.
• Test products per specifications and document results.
• Document inspection findings and create detailed quality reports.
• Maintain records of calibration and inspection equipment.
• Work with production to improve manufacturing processes.
• Provide training to operators on quality requirements and best practices.
• Communicate with suppliers to address material quality issues.
• Analyze quality data and identify trends to improve processes.
• Participate in root cause analysis and implement CAPA.
• Contribute to process improvement projects to reduce waste.
