Job summary

Falcon Safe Marketing Malaysia seeks a dedicated QA/QC inspector to perform IQC/IPQC/OQC inspections, review materials, and ensure products meet drawings and SOPs. You will monitor manufacturing steps, verify components, and maintain quality records.

The role requires a Diploma/Bachelor in Quality or Manufacturing Eng, 2–3 years QA/QC experience, and strong Excel skills. Candidates should be detail-oriented, able to read engineering drawings, and ready to collaborate with Production and

Qualifications

  • Diploma or Degree in Quality Engineering, Mechanical-Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
  • 2–3 years of QA/QC experience in manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in metal fabrication, sheet metal, welding or machinery manufacturing is a plus.
  • Able to read and understand engineering drawings and product specifications.
  • Familiar with ISO 9001 and Quality Management System (QMS).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Good attention to detail and quality awareness.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct Incoming, In-Process and Final Quality Inspections (IQC/IPQC/OQC).
  • Inspect raw materials, components and finished products per drawings and specs.
  • Monitor manufacturing processes including cutting, bending, welding, painting, assembly and installation.
  • Perform dimensional, visual and functional inspections on safety boxes.
  • Check product components like doors, hinges, locks and fittings.
  • Ensure products meet customer specifications, SOPs and quality standards.
  • Investigate customer complaints and coordinate with relevant departments to resolve issues.
  • Monitor supplier quality and follow up on incoming material defects.
  • Maintain inspection reports, quality records, checklists and QMS docs.
  • Ensure measuring/testing equipment is calibrated and up to date.
  • Support ISO 9001 audits and internal/external audits.
  • Analyze rejection, rework and defects and propose improvements.
  • Collaborate with Production and Engineering to reduce defects and scrap.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct Incoming, In-Process and Final Quality Inspections (IQC/IPQC/OQC).
  • Inspect raw materials, components and finished safety box products according to specifications and approved drawings.
  • Monitor manufacturing processes including cutting, bending, welding, grinding, painting/coating, assembly and installation.
  • Perform dimensional, visual and functional inspections on safety boxes.
  • Check product components including doors, hinges, locks, locking mechanisms, internal fittings and finishing.
  • Ensure products comply with customer specifications, drawings, SOPs and quality standards.
  • Investigate customer complaints and work with relevant departments to resolve quality issues.
  • Monitor supplier quality and follow up on incoming material defects.
  • Maintain inspection reports, quality records, checklists and other QMS documentation.
  • Ensure measuring and testing equipment is properly calibrated.
  • Support ISO 9001, internal audits and external audits.
  • Analyse rejection, rework and defect data and recommend improvement actions.
  • Work closely with Production and Engineering teams to reduce defects, scrap and rework.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve product quality and production efficiency.
What We're Looking For
  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Quality Engineering, Mechanical-Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
  • 2–3 years of QA/QC or Quality Engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in metal fabrication, sheet metal, welding, steel products or machinery manufacturing will be an added advantage.
  • Able to read and understand engineering drawings and product specifications.
  • Familiar with ISO 9001 / Quality Management System (QMS).
  • Good analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality awareness.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Willing to work closely with the production floor and take a hands-on approach to quality control.
