Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a meticulous and proactive QA/QC Engineer to oversee quality assurance and quality control for our Transmission & Distribution (T&D) projects. You will ensure that all engineering, construction, and commissioning activities meet project specifications, industry standards, and safety requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in QA/QC within Transmission & Distribution projects.
• Strong knowledge of T&D equipment, installation procedures, and quality standards.
• Familiarity with QA/QC standards, codes, and regulations (e.g., ISO 9001, IEC, IEEE).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with clients, contractors, and project teams.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and QA/QC software tools.
• Ability to work on-site, including in high-voltage substation and transmission line environments.
• Safety certifications (e.g., OSHA, NEBOSH) preferred.
