Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Quality Assurance- Quality Control Executive to oversee QA/QC inspections for incoming materials, installations, and completed M&E works in line with project requirements.

The role involves preparing QA/QC documentation, coordinating with project teams, and supporting testing and commissioning activities on site. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply and prior M&E exposure is a bonus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering required.
• 1–3 years QA/QC experience in M&E or construction preferred; fresh graduates welcome.
• Knowledge of M&E systems: Electrical, HVAC, ELV; MV/LV distribution, UPS, generators, switchgear is a plus.
• Familiar with QA/QC documentation and processes: ITP, WIR, MAR, NCR, inspection reports.

Responsibilities

• Conduct QA/QC inspections on incoming materials, installation works, and M&E projects to ensure compliance with requirements.
• Prepare and maintain QA/QC documentation, inspection records, reports, and submissions.
• Assist in testing, inspection, and verification of M&E systems and equipment.
• Coordinate with Project, Engineering, Procurement, Consultants, and Site Teams on quality matters and inspections.
• Participate in site inspections, internal audits, quality meetings, and commissioning activities as required.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety requirements, and QMS.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Management or supervisor.

Quality Assurance- Quality Control Executive

• Conduct quality inspections and checks on incoming materials, installation works, and completed M&E works to ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Prepare and maintain QA/QC documentation, inspection records, reports, and quality-related submissions.
• Assist in conducting testing, inspection, and verification of M&E systems and equipment.
• Identify non-conformities, support root cause analysis, and follow up on corrective and preventive actions.
• Ensure project works comply with approved drawings, specifications, QA/QC procedures, and relevant standards and regulations.
• Coordinate with Project, Engineering, Procurement, Consultants, and Site Teams on quality-related matters and inspections.
• Participate in site inspections, internal audits, quality meetings, and commissioning activities as required.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety requirements, and Quality Management System (QMS).
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Management or immediate supervisor.

Requirement:

• Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of relevant QA/QC experience, preferably in M&E engineering or construction projects; fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Good knowledge of M&E systems, particularly Electrical, HVAC, and ELV systems; knowledge of MV/LV distribution, UPS, generators, and switchgear is an advantage.
• Familiar with QA/QC documentation and processes, including ITP, WIR, MAR, NCR, inspection reports, and related records.
• Exposure to testing, commissioning (Cx), site inspections, and quality audits is an advantage.
• Good communication, coordination, problem-solving, and documentation skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced construction environment.
• Familiarity with QA/QC or document control systems is an advantage.
