We are seeking a detail-oriented QA/QC Engineer to ensure that all construction, installation, and testing works comply with approved drawings, project specifications, quality standards, and client requirements. We are seeking a detail-oriented QA/QC Engineer to ensure that all construction, installation, and testing works comply with approved drawings, project specifications, quality standards, and client requirements. Implement and maintain the Project Quality Plan, inspection procedures, and quality control requirements.
Review approved drawings, technical specifications, method statements, Inspection and Test Plans (ITP), and other project documents.
Ensure all civil, electrical, installation, testing, and commissioning works comply with approved project requirements.
Conduct routine site inspections to monitor materials, workmanship, installation activities, and construction quality.
Prepare and submit Work Inspection Requests (WIR), Material Inspection Requests (MIR), checklists, and other quality-related documents.
Coordinate site inspections and testing activities with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and the project team.
Verify that materials delivered to the site comply with approved material submissions, specifications, and relevant standards.
Monitor calibration records for testing and measuring equipment used at the project site.
Identify non-conforming works and issue or coordinate Non-Conformance Reports (NCR), where required.
Follow up on corrective and preventive actions to ensure all quality issues are properly rectified and closed.
Maintain proper records of inspections, test results, material certificates, approvals, and quality documentation.
Monitor subcontractors' work to ensure compliance with the approved quality requirements.
Attend QA/QC meetings, site coordination meetings, and inspections with relevant stakeholders.
Assist in internal and external quality audits and follow up on audit findings.
Prepare QA/QC progress reports and update the relevant quality trackers.
Compile quality records, testing reports, as-built documents, and handover documentation.
Assist in the preparation and compilation of Operation & Maintenance Manuals.
Support testing, commissioning, defect rectification, project completion, and final handover to the client.
Undertake other duties assigned by the Project Manager or Management from time to time.
Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
Minimum two years of relevant QA/QC experience in construction, electrical, or infrastructure projects.
Experience in underground power cables, transmission lines, substations, data centres, or high-voltage projects such as 11kV, 33kV, 132kV, or 275kV will be an added advantage.
Familiar with quality documents such as Project Quality Plans, ITPs, method statements, WIRs, MIRs, NCRs, checklists, and inspection reports.
Knowledge of relevant construction, electrical, safety, and ISO quality management requirements.
Able to interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and project requirements.
Proficient in Microsoft Office. Knowledge of AutoCAD will be an advantage.
Good documentation, reporting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
Able to coordinate effectively with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal project teams.
Willing to work at project sites, travel outstation, and work outside the Klang Valley.
Able to start work immediately or within short notice.
