Jora Malaysia seeks a QA Engineer to work with the Sales & Engineering team at the early design review stage to understand customer and product specifications and ensure they are achievable. You will translate requirements into product documentation and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.

1. To work out with the Sales & Engineering team at the early design review stage in order to understand the customer or product specification & requirement.
2. To ensure product requirements obtained are able to be fulfilled. Propose & execute QA department upgrade if needed.
3. Transferred the customer or product specification & requirement to related internal parties & translated into product specification(document).
4. To communicate product specification & requirement with internal team & external party(if there is any).
5. To perform stage by stage contract review, to fine tune if there is any mis-alignment on action & information.
6. To support any quality issue encountered during manufacturing processes including assembly & machine troubleshooting process.
7. To work out with a machine/equipment designer on the machine requirement & buyoff criteria in order to develop the buyoff checklist.
8. Team up with the Engineering & Assembly team member to perform final machine/equipment buyoff.
9. To review the supporting data & documents required during machine buy-off.
10. To wrap up the completed buyoff document & transfer to Document Control for proper document storage.
11. To participate & provide support on the post delivery action such as post-mortem review, design modification & future improvement action.
12. Assist in QMS establishment, implementation, maintenance and improvement.
13. Assist in customer audit and third party QMS certification assessment.
14. Other duties and assignments as instructed by the supervisor from time to time.
15. To comply with all requirements of ISO (inclusive of all standards approved by the Management) and to adhere to general safety practices, standard operating procedure, work instructions, policies and guidelines provided by the company.
Requirement:
1. Degree in Mechanical Engineering/Mechatronic/Manufacturing or equivalent years of related experience.
2. Preferably 2 to 5 years working experience in hands-on quality assurance of fabrication on Metal Works, CNC Machining & Assembly.
3. Basic assembly & automation background. Work independently & communicate well with process owner & internal customer.
4. Good understanding on Metal Work, CNC process, mechanical drawing, tolerance & inspection operation(IQA, IPQA & OQA). Data Analysis, Contract Review, Problem Solving, Root Cause Analysis, Internal Audit, FMEA, PMP, QC Tools, Machine Verification & Validation.
