INEO TECH SDN. BHD. in Batu Kawan, Penang, is seeking a dedicated QA/QC Technician to join our quality assurance team.

This full-time role focuses on inspecting, testing and verifying products to uphold the highest standards of quality and compliance in our manufacturing processes. You will help maintain traceability and contribute to continuous improvement. The ideal candidate has a Diploma in Science (or equivalent) and hands-on experience with QC equipment, SPC and documentation practices.

Qualifications

• SPM/STPM/Diploma in Science required.
• Proven QA/QC experience in manufacturing environment preferred.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 or quality standards is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections and testing of materials and finished products.
• Perform SPC and quality control tests using measuring instruments.

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented QA/QC Technician to join the quality assurance and control team at INEO TECH SDN. BHD. This is a full-time position based in Batu Kawan, Penang, where you will play a vital role in ensuring that our manufacturing processes meet the highest standards of quality and compliance. As a QA/QC Technician, you will be responsible for inspecting, testing and verifying products and processes to maintain our commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction. This position is integral to our operations, directly contributing to the reliability and reputation of our products in the marketplace.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections and testing of raw materials, components and finished products in accordance with established quality standards and specifications
• Perform statistical analysis and quality control tests using appropriate measuring instruments and equipment to identify defects and deviations
• Document inspection results, test findings and non-conformances in detail, maintaining accurate records for traceability and compliance purposes
• Investigate quality issues and defects, determining root causes and collaborating with production teams to implement corrective actions
• Maintain and calibrate quality control equipment and testing instruments to ensure accuracy and reliability of results
• Support the development and implementation of quality procedures, work instructions and inspection protocols
• Liaise with production, procurement and management teams to communicate quality concerns and recommendations
• Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, regulations and company quality management systems
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and assist in audits as required

What we're looking for

• SPM/STPM/Diploma in Science.
• Proven experience as a QA/QC Technician or in a similar quality control role within a manufacturing environment
• Strong knowledge of quality assurance methodologies, statistical process control (SPC) and inspection techniques
• Proficiency in using quality control equipment and measuring instruments such as calipers, gauges, microscopes and testing apparatus
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to identify discrepancies and inconsistencies
• Strong documentation and record-keeping skills with proficiency in relevant software systems
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
• Problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving quality issues
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 or other quality management systems is advantageous
• Knowledge of relevant industry standards applicable to the manufacturing sector is desirable
