Job summary

UIS Technologies Sdn Bhd, a Penang-based precision manufacturer, is seeking a QA Technician for its Simpang Ampat operations. You will perform in-process quality inspections, record data, and support corrective actions to ensure products meet specifications.

Fresh graduates are welcome, and the role emphasizes accuracy, teamwork, and adherence to safety and company standards. English and Bahasa Malaysia communication is required, with training and competitive rewards offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum SPM/STPM or equivalent or relevant working experience.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Able to communicate in English & Bahasa Malaysia.
• Familiarity with CMM, VMM or Profile Projector is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Carry out quality inspection of in-process products per standard and specification.
• Identify non-conforming products and coordinate with the relevant department.
• Prepare inspection and testing status reports.
• Assist with countermeasures and process improvements.
• Support online product and process checking.
• Maintain accurate inspection data records.
• Maintain workplace cleanliness and safety.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.

About the role

UIS TECHNOLOGIES SDN BHD is seeking a dedicated and reliable QA Technician to join our manufacturing team in Simpang Ampat, Penang. This is a full-time position that plays a vital role in our assembly and process operations. As a QA Technician, you will be responsible for conducting in-process quality inspections and ensuring products meet required standards and specifications. Identify and report non-conforming products, maintain accurate inspection records, and support production teams in implementing corrective actions and process improvements. Assist with online product and process checking while maintaining workplace cleanliness, safety, and compliance with company requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Responsible for carrying out quality inspection of in-process products as per standard and specification.
• Responsible for identifying of non-conformance product and addressing them accordingly to concern department for further action.
• To make preparation for quality inspection and testing status report.
• Assist supervisor to ensure the implementation of countermeasures and improvement been performed accordingly.
• Support operation online product and process checking.
• To maintain accurate and correct inspection data recording.
• To maintain cleanliness and safety operation of work place.
• To carry out other duties and responsibilities as assigned by Superiors from time to time.
