Job summary

Color Pigment (M) Sdn Bhd in Malaysia seeks a hands-on QA/QC professional to ensure product quality from development to production. You will coordinate with sales, set quality plans, assign daily tasks, and supervise QA/QC staff to comply with internal policies.

You will also manage nonconforming materials, document controls, and maintain continuous improvement efforts. Ideal candidate has a Diploma, color vision, no color blindness, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• 3 years hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong color vision and ability to work with color creation.
• Must not be color blind.
• Diploma qualification and basic computer literacy.
• Experience in art is beneficial.
• Willingness to drive continuous improvement and adapt to change.
• Team-oriented, diligent, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with sales for product development and perform color matching.
• Ensure QA/QC plans are followed.
• Achieve QA/QC objectives by assigning daily activities.
• Ensure QA/QC staff comply with internal policies and procedures.
• Track team priorities with QA/QC executive and address issues.
• Handle nonconforming product or rework processes.
• Maintain orderly document filling system and records.
• Initiate hold, reject and approve stickers and confirm quality.
• Set product specification tolerances and priorities.

• v Coordinate with sales team for product development and perform color matching
• v Ensure the quality control plans are followed
• v Achieves QA/QC operational objectives by assigning day-to-day activities
• v Ensure QA/QC staff are working in compliance with internal policies and procedures
• v Work closely with QA/QC executive to track team priorities and address issues and problems
• v Dealing with nonconformity product/rework process
• v Ensure document filling system in order and up to date
• v Any other job assigned by the superior or management from time to time
• v Approved and set product specification tolerance
• v Set team development and product priorities
• v To initiate a Hold, Reject and Approved sticker and confirm quality

(C) QUALIFICATION

• v Preferable 3 years hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment
• v Enthusiasm in color creation and good eyesight with color sense
• v Must not be color blind
• v Minimum Diploma holder and must be computer literate
• v Experience in art may be beneficial
• v Strives for continuous improvement and can effectively manage change
• v Positive, team-oriented and flexible
• v Diligent and self-starter
• v Mature and analytical and able to work independently with minimum supervision
• v Good interpersonal and communication skills
