Job summary

V & V Engineering Sdn. Bhd. is seeking responsible QA/QC Inspectors to join our project team in Malaysia.

You will conduct regular site inspections to ensure work aligns with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards, and you will prepare QA/QC reports and documentation. Ideal candidates bring experience in construction or M&E projects, a solid understanding of site activities, and strong communication skills for coordination with workers, subcontractors, and clients.

Qualifications

• Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality and safety.
• Good communication and coordination skills when dealing with workers, subcontractors, clients, and project teams.
• Willing to travel and conduct regular site visits.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure all work is carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, project requirements, and quality standards.
• Monitor work quality and identify defects, non-conformities, and other quality issues at the site.
• Prepare and maintain QA/QC documentation, inspection reports, checklists, and other project records.
• Ensure corrective actions are implemented for all identified defects and non-compliance issues.
• Monitor site activities to ensure compliance with quality and safety requirements.
• Coordinate with site workers, subcontractors, supervisors, and project teams on quality-related matters.
• Attend site inspections with clients, consultants, and other relevant parties when required.
• Monitor work progress and provide updates on inspection results and quality status.
• Maintain complete and accurate records, reports, and supporting documents throughout the project.
• Report quality and site-related issues to the Project Manager or management for further action.

• Good communication and coordination skills when dealing with workers, subcontractors, clients, and project teams.
• Willing to travel and conduct regular site visits.
• Comfortable working outdoors, in hot weather when required.
• Possession of a valid driving licence and own transportation will be an advantage.
