Job summary

Jora Malaysia is hiring a QA/QC professional to develop, implement and maintain quality control procedures across projects in Malaysia. The role involves inspections, documentation, and ensuring all works meet drawings, specs and quality standards.

You will coordinate with project team, consultants and subcontractors, manage non-conformance reports, CAPA, and support QMS audits. Degree in Civil/Mechanical Eng and 2–3 years experience preferred; willingness to travel to site is required.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Civil, Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 2–3 years of QA/QC experience in construction or related field.
• Knowledge of quality standards and inspection procedures.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Willing to travel to project sites when required.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain QA/QC procedures in accordance with project requirements and standards.
• Conduct inspections and ensure all works, materials and equipment comply with approved drawings, specifications and quality standards.
• Prepare and maintain QA/QC documentation, inspection reports, checklists, ITP, test reports and other quality records.
• Coordinate with project team, consultants, clients and subcontractors on inspection and quality-related matters.
• Monitor and follow up on NCR, CAPA.
• Ensure proper inspection, testing and documentation are completed throughout the project.
• Conduct site quality inspections and ensure compliance with safety, technical and contractual requirements.
• Assist in internal and external audits and support continuous improvement of the company's quality management system.

• Good communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently and willing to travel to project sites when required.
