Job summary

SEP SYNERGY (M) SDN. BHD. is seeking a QA/QC professional to implement and manage the QA/QC system on construction sites in Kuala Lumpur. The role requires hands-on experience coordinating inspections with subcontractors and vendors, plus strong knowledge of codes and standards.

You will liaise with customers and site personnel, oversee non-destructive testing, and manage non-conformances to ensure quality compliance throughout each project phase.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering (Civil) or Construction Management / Building or equivalent.
• 3–5 years hands-on QA/QC experience in construction.
• Capable of working independently and handling correspondence.

Responsibilities

• Implement the QA/QC management system at site.
• Coordinate quality inspections with site subcontractors and vendors.
• Coordinate all non-destructive testing on site.
• Coordinate with customer representatives on all quality matters.
• Coordinate all receipt inspections.
• Distribute QA/QC documentation to site subcontractors.
• Ensure QA/QC activities comply with codes and standards.
• Participate in site audits (internal and external).
• Coordinate all quality inspections through site QC inspectors.
• Control non-conformance reports and remedial actions.

Key responsibilities

• Implement the QA/QC management system at site
• Coordinate with quality inspections with all the site sub-contractors and vendors
• Coordinate all non-destructive testing on site
• Coordinate with the customers representative on all quality matters
• Coordinate all receipt inspections
• Distribute relevant QA/QC documentation to site subcontractors
• Verify that the quality related site activities are in accordance with the applicable codes and standards
• Participate in the site internal and external site audits
• Coordinate all the quality site inspections through the site QC inspectors
• Control all non-conformance reports and undertake remedial action

About you

• Degree in Engineering (Civil) or Construction Management / Building or equivalent
• Minimum 3-5 years hands on experience in QA/QC for construction industry
• Capable of working independently and handling correspondence work
• Good construction knowledge and coordination skills with sub-contractors, consultants and clients
• English and Bahasa Malaysia language proficiency required
• Preferably specializing in Engineering – Civil/Construction/Structural/sewerage work/construction infra work or equivalent
