Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a QA/QC Lead to oversee on-site inspectors and ensure daily QA/QC inspections meet approved method statements and industrial standards. You will coordinate with the Project Team to address QA/QC issues and ensure all materials comply with project specs and safety regulations.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering and are fluent in Bahasa Malaysia and English. Fresh graduates or those with up to 1 year of construction experience are welcome to apply,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Fresh graduate or 1 year of construction industry experience.
• Fluent in Bahasa Malaysia and English.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage QAQC inspectors and quality control personnel on-site.
• Conduct daily QA/QC inspections on work on site per approved method statements and standards.
• Coordinate with Project Team and related parties on QA/QC issues.
• Identify and highlight foreseeable defect issues to the Superior and Project Team.
• Prepare reports, presentations, and correspondence accurately.
• Ensure construction activities and materials comply with project specs, safety regs, company policies, codes, and standards.
• Report on quality status and issues.
• Provide recommendations for improving quality processes and best practices.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and quality-related activities.
• Identify NCR when required to related parties to ensure corrective actions and prevent recurrence.

Conduct daily QA/QC inspections on work done on site as per the approved method statement and follow industrial standards

Coordinate with the respective Project Team and other related parties on QA/QC issues

Identify and highlight foreseeable defect issues to the Superior and Project Team

Prepare reports, presentations, and correspondence accurately

Ensure all construction activities and materials comply with project specifications, safety regulations, company policies, codes, and standards

Report on quality status and issues

Provide recommendations for improving quality processes and implementing best practices

Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and quality-related activities

Identify NCR when required to the related parties when there are Non-compliance or Defective Works found on site to ensure corrective actions and prevent recurrence

About you

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering

Fluent in Bahasa Malaysia and English

Fresh graduate or 1 year of working experience in the construction industry

Positive attitude and ability to organize, plan, meet deadlines, and work well under pressure

Self-motivated and able to work independently
