Madam Kwan's Restaurant is seeking an experienced Quality Program Manager to oversee food safety and quality systems across all outlets. You will monitor HACCP/HALAL compliance, lead a dedicated QA team, and drive continual improvements in product quality and regulatory readiness.
The role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration with operations, regulatory bodies, and supplier QA to ensure consistent standards and successful audits. A strong background in QA for Malaysian cuisine is preferred.
Quality Program Management: Monitor and update quality and food safety programs (HACCP, HALAL, Quality Evaluation Checklist, and Food Safety procedures) to comply with company and regulatory standards.
QA System Coordination: Implement and manage QA systems, identify gaps, analyze issues, and make recommendations.
Quality Management System: Ensure the overall Quality Management System is understood, implemented, and maintained. Report and recommend continual improvements to management.
Leadership: Lead the Food Safety/Quality Team in developing, implementing, and maintaining food safety and quality systems across all outlets, including new openings and franchises.
Best Practices: Plan and introduce internal programs to improve product quality.
Quality Control: Analyze quality control test results and communicate findings to relevant departments. All products are in accordance to SOP
Regulatory Compliance: Review quality documentation for regulatory submissions and inspections. Supervise, host, or conduct internal and external audits and follow up with action plans.
Issue Resolution: Ensure hazards, policies, objectives, targets, audit results, and feedback/complaints are resolved within given timeframes.
Cleaning schedule: Ensuring all SOP on cleaning is on target
Training and Development: Educate employees on quality assurance standards and procedures to ensure compliance and high performance.
Communication and Collaboration: Coordinate efficiently with other departments, external stakeholders, and regulatory bodies for quality assurance related matters.
Performance Metrics: Set and track performance metrics to assess the effectiveness of quality assurance programs.
Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with industry trends and standards to maintain a continuous improvement mindset within the quality assurance processes.
Additional Tasks: Perform any other tasks assigned by management to assist in meeting company objectives.
