Job summary

Job description

Approach supermarkets/hypermarkets to list and sell Madam Kwan's products, including identifying suitable retail partners, preparing listing proposals and product presentations, and following through until new SKUs are successfully listed.

Negotiate listing fees, trading terms, pricing and margins with supermarket buyers and category managers, ensuring terms are commercially viable for Madam Kwan's while meeting retailer expectations, and reviewing/renewing agreements as needed.

Manage relationships with supermarket accounts, from orders to delivery to payment, acting as the main point of contact for day-to-day account matters and resolving any issues relating to fulfilment, invoicing or collections.

Track sell-in/sell-out performance and stock levels at outlet level, and drive sales growth by identifying underperforming outlets or products and implementing corrective actions in collaboration with the retailer.

Plan in-store promotions, displays and POSM with supermarket partners, coordinating promotional calendars and ensuring campaigns are executed on time and in line with brand guidelines.

Work closely with Procurement on production, cost and supply to meet demand, providing accurate sales forecasts and flagging any anticipated changes in order volume.

Prepare sales and account performance reports for management, summarising key metrics, trends and issues, and providing recommendations to support decision-making.

Achieve monthly and annual sales targets by monitoring performance against targets, addressing gaps in a timely manner, and implementing strategic action plans to ensure targets are consistently met.
