Job summary

Central Coldstorage Kuching Sdn Bhd is seeking a shift QA representative to ensure the effective execution of food safety and quality assurance programs on the production floor. You will monitor CCPs, PRPs, hygiene, labeling, and documentation while serving as the QA point for production zones during the morning shift.

The role supports escalation of issues, corrective actions, traceability, and audit preparation, with a preference for HACCP training and familiarity with major standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Microbiology or related field.
• HACCP training or certification preferred.
• Familiar with FSSC 22000, GMP, VHM, QMS, and Food Regulations 1985.

Responsibilities

Job description

Responsibility: To ensure effective execution of food safety and quality assurance programs on the production floor; to monitor Critical Control Points (CCPs), Operational PRPs (OPRSs), hygiene, labeling, and documentation; to act as the shift-level QA representative for production zones (clean area, dirty area, and morning shift) and to support issue escalation, corrective actions, traceability, and internal/external audit preparation.

• Minimum Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Microbiology or related field.
• Minimum 2 years working experience in QA/QC roles within the food manufacturing sector preferred. Salary RM2.2K and above depending on the qualification and experience.
• HACCP training or certification preferred.
• Familiar with FSSC 22000, GMP, VHM, QMS, and Food Regulations 1985.
• Good communication, interpersonal skills, documentation and reporting skills.
