Job summary

myNews in Malaysia is seeking a QA/QC Lead to supervise QA Assistants and oversee routine QA/QC tasks in production, including checking raw materials, semi-finished and finished products. The role involves monitoring hygiene and cleanliness, CCP recording, and reporting quality issues to a supervisor.

Night shift capability is required. Applicants should hold a diploma related to food, have at least two years of experience in the food industry QA/QC, and possess experience in staff management.

Responsibilities

• Lead and guide QA Assistant for routine QA/QC tasks in production (raw materials, semi-finished, finished products).
• Monitor hygiene practices of workers in production.
• Ensure cleanliness in production areas.
• Record CCP activities accurately.
• Identify and report food safety/quality issues to supervisor.
• Able to work night shift.
• Perform other duties assigned by supervisor.
