Job summary

Teo Seng Capital Berhad is seeking a Quality Assurance Officer to assist in monitoring HACCP, SOP, and QA programs within our poultry-focused operation in Yong Peng.

You will train personnel, enforce GMP, and ensure food safety standards are met across manufacturing processes, with weekly egg quality testing and microbiological sampling.

Join our QA team to uphold high standards, prepare action reports, and support management with site sanitation and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a food-related discipline (food science/technology/biology/industry management)
• Knowledge of food safety and HACCP principles
• Own transport
• Willing to work in Yong Peng

Responsibilities

• Monitor and update HACCP, SOP, and QA programs and document control
• Ensure quality and food safety standards through staff training and GMP improvements
• Maintain food safety awareness among all employees
• Act as hygiene officer ensuring sanitation and compliance
• Prepare reports communicating outcomes of quality activities
• Perform process and finished goods analysis, microbiology, hygiene, pest control, packaging materials, raw materials, calibration, and equipment upkeep
• Conduct egg quality testing weekly (farm eggs) including feed-related analyses
• Manage random microbiological sampling on equipment and products and testing schedule
• Undertake ad hoc project work as requested by management

Job description

Assist in monitoring and updating existing HACCP, SOP, AND QA programs, procedures, and document control programs

Assist in ensuring Quality and Food Safety standards in the products are met by training of personnel, close monitoring of the processing and improvement of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) in factory environment

Assist in ensuring that Food Safety & Quality system and awareness are implemented, understood and practiced by all employees

To act as hygiene officer in ensuring maintenance and sanitation of the facility is in compliance with food safety requirements

Prepare reports to communicate outcomes of quality activities

Execute all activities e.g: in the process and finished goods analysis, microbiology, hygiene, pest control, packaging materials, raw materials, calibration activities, and cleanliness & good keeping of equipment together as a part of QA team

To perform egg quality testing on eggs from farms weekly, including but not limited to internal egg quality analysis related to feed

Implement and manage Random Microbiological Sampling Collecting on equipment and product as well as maintain schedule of testing

Undertakes project work or ad hoc job-related matters or any other duties as and when assigned/requested by the Management from time to time

Requirements

Minimum educational requirement of Bachelor's degree in a food-related discipline, such as food science, food technology, food biology, food industry management etc

Possess Knowledge of food safety and HACCP principles

Possess own transport

Willing to work in Yong Peng
