Job summary

Teo Seng Capital Berhad is seeking a dedicated Safety, Health and Environmental (SHE) professional to implement and monitor the company’s safety management system at the Yong Peng site. The role focuses on complying with statutory requirements, conducting internal audits and trainings, and driving continuous improvement in safety practices for the business operations.

You will identify hazards, assess risks, prepare health and safety reports with action plans, and liaise with authorities such as

Qualifications

• Degree/Diploma in OSH or Environmental Science or equivalent.
• OSH Coordinator trained is an advantage.
• Able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Implement safety, health and environmental practices across the company.
• Monitor and improve the Safety Management System for statutory compliance.
• Conduct audits, trainings and inductions; prepare safety reports.
• Identify hazards, assess risks and propose control measures.
• Liaise with authorities (DOSH, BOMBA, DOE) and ensure timely reports.

Job description

Responsible for the implementation of safety, health and environmental practices in the Company(s);

Monitor and implement the Company’s Safety Management System to ensure compliance with the relevant statutory requirements and continuously improve the Safety Management System by conducting internal audits, awareness briefings, trainings and induction programs;

Responsible to ensure the applicable procedures and practices in accordance to the safety and health and environmental statutory acts/regulations;

Identify potential hazards, assess the risks in Company’s premises and determining necessary control measures to assure employees safety;

To create a safety and health report that including recommend action plan to existing infrastructure, working procedure and practice for further improvement;

Liaise with government authorities such as DOSH, BOMBA, DOE & others on matters concerning with safety and health issues and ensure all report are submitted on time;

Undertakes project work or assignment or ad hoc job-related matters or any other duties as and when assigned/requested by the Management from time to time

Requirements

Candidate must possess at least a degree inDegree/Diploma in Occupational Safety & Health/Environmental Science or its equivalent

OSH Coordinator trained person is an advantage.

Able to work independently

Willing to work in Yong Peng.
