Job summary

Kawan Food Berhad is seeking a Quality Assurance Executive to uphold product safety and quality across our frozen Asian food range. You will manage complaints, conduct quality validations for CCPs, allergens, and processes, and perform GMP inspections.

The role involves FSMS, certifications and supplier audits, collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement clear improvements. The ideal candidate has a BSc in Food Science/Technology or related field, 3–5 years QA experience, and strong

• Bachelor’s degree, postgraduate diploma or professional qualification in food science/technology or related field.
• Extensive knowledge of BRCGS standards and ISO 22000 / FSSC22000.
• 3–5 years in a QA role within the food industry.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Ability to work under pressure with attention to detail and compliance mindset.
• Familiar with root cause analysis, trend analysis and quality management systems.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree, Postgraduate Diploma, or Professional Qualification in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related field.

In-depth understanding and hands-on experience with BRCGS Standards and ISO 22000/FSSC22000 is essential.

A minimum of 3-5 years' experience in a Quality Assurance role or a closely related position within the food industry is required.

Demonstrated ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams, translating operational and departmental needs into clear, actionable plans, deliverables, and resource requirements.

Must have excellent solid Analytical and Problem solving skills, along with strong interpersonal abilities and a proven ability to work collaboratively in team-oriented environments.

Ability to work independently under pressure, strong attention to detail and compliance mindset.

Familiar with Root Cause Analysis tools, Trend Analysis and Quality Management Systems
