About the Role

Manage and control the quality system in Malaysia to ensure that the activities comply with the company Quality management System, quality standard and policy. Work closely with a production team in order to ensure that they meet customer requirements and enhance the customer experience process with Avery Dennison.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

• Quality Strategy and Planning: Develop and implement quality strategies
• Establish quality goals and metrics, and monitor progress against these benchmarks
• Identify and prioritize quality improvement opportunities
• Development and implementation of quality assurance processes and procedures
• Monitor and analyze quality performance data, and implement corrective actions as needed
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies
• Plan and conduct internal and external quality audits, and manage follow-up actions to address audit findings
• Maintain and update quality documentation, including policies, procedures, and audit reports
• Collaborate with the procurement team to evaluate and select suppliers based on quality criteria
• Work with suppliers to resolve quality issues, quality performance and conduct regular supplier audits
• Address customer complaints and feedback promptly and effectively, ensuring resolution and continuous improvement
• Analyze customer satisfaction data and implement measures to enhance customer experience
• Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and operational efficiency

Qualifications

• 7-10 years of experience in quality management, with a minimum of 3 years in a regional or multi-site role
• Strong knowledge of quality assurance methodologies, tools, and processes
• Experience with quality management systems and audit (e.g., ISO 9001, FSC audit)
• Proven leadership and team management skills
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
