Jora Malaysia is seeking a Quality Manager to lead the QA and QC functions across manufacturing operations, ensuring quality compliance and driving performance improvements.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field and 5–8 years in quality management, with expertise in ISO9001, ISO13485, SPC, FMEA, and strong leadership to coordinate cross-functional teams and supplier audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
• Minimum 5–8 years of quality management experience in precision machining/manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO13485, SPC, FMEA, 8D, MSA, and Root Cause Analysis.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in managing QA/QC functions and leading quality improvement initiatives.
• Able to work effectively with cross-functional teams and customers.

Responsibilities

• Manage the overall Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) functions.
• Develop and implement quality strategies to achieve company quality objectives.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and customer-specific quality requirements.
• Lead customer complaints, NCR, CAPA, and root cause analysis activities.
• Monitor quality KPIs, including rejection rate, scrap cost, customer complaints, and corrective actions.
• Conduct internal quality reviews and support external customer and certification audits.
• Lead and develop the quality team through training, coaching, and performance management.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Production, Purchasing, and customers to resolve quality issues.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce defects and improve manufacturing capability.
• Report quality performance and improvement plans to management.
