Jora Malaysia is seeking an experienced Quality Leader to oversee all quality activities, drive QMS implementation, and align quality objectives with business goals. You will lead a cross-functional team to champion continuous improvement using Lean, Six Sigma, and ISO standards.
The role requires 4–10 years in QA in manufacturing with leadership experience, and strong knowledge of quality systems and problem-solving methodologies.

Lead and oversee all quality activities for the CA Program to ensure compliance with customer specifications and company quality standards.
Develop, implement, and continuously improve the Quality Management System (QMS).
Establish quality objectives, KPIs, and improvement roadmaps aligned with business goals.
Drive a proactive quality culture across all manufacturing functions.
Lead, coach, mentor, and develop the Quality team to build strong technical and leadership capabilities.
Define clear performance expectations and conduct regular performance reviews.
Develop succession planning and competency matrices for QA personnel.
Foster accountability, teamwork, and continuous learning within the organization.
Lead quality improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, PDCA, 8D, CAPA, FMEA, SPC, and Root Cause Analysis methodologies.
Drive reduction of defects, scrap, customer complaints, and Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ).
Promote data-driven decision-making through trend analysis and statistical quality tools.
Identify opportunities to improve manufacturing processes and product reliability.
Ensure robust quality control systems are implemented throughout incoming, in-process, and final inspection activities.
Monitor process capability and product conformity through regular audits and performance reviews.
Review and approve quality standards, inspection plans, control plans, and work instructions.
Ensure effective containment and corrective actions for quality issues.
Serve as the primary quality representative for customer quality matters.
Lead customer complaint investigations and ensure timely implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
Support customer audits and quality improvement programs.
Monitor customer quality metrics and drive continuous performance improvement.
Maintain and continuously improve the Quality Management System in accordance with:
ISO 9001
ISO 14001
Internal Corporate Quality Standards
Lead internal and external certification audits.
Ensure audit findings are effectively addressed and closed within the required timeline.
Maintain compliance with environmental, quality, and regulatory requirements.
Lead regular Gemba Walks to verify process compliance, identify risks, and drive problem-solving at the production floor.
Promote a "Go & See" culture by engaging with frontline employees.
Ensure identified issues are tracked, resolved, and sustained through follow-up actions.
Partner with Manufacturing, Engineering, Planning, Supply Chain, Operations, and EHS teams to improve operational performance.
Participate in new product introductions, process changes, and manufacturing transfers.
Ensure quality requirements are incorporated into production planning and execution.
Lead risk assessments using FMEA and other preventive quality tools.
Ensure compliance with customer‑specific requirements, regulatory standards, and company policies.
Drive preventive quality strategies to minimize operational and customer risks.
Develop and present monthly Quality Performance Reviews to senior management.
Monitor and report quality KPIs, including:
Customer Complaints
Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ)
Audit Performance
Recommend strategic improvement initiatives based on performance trends.
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Manufacturing, or a related discipline.
Minimum 4-10 years of experience in Quality Assurance within a manufacturing environment, with at least 2-5 years in a leadership role.
Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems and continuous improvement methodologies.
Certified ISO 9001 Internal/Lead Auditor (preferred).
Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification is an advantage.
