Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a responsible and experienced QA & Production Executive to join our team in Johor. You will monitor the quality and safety of products throughout the production process and drive adherence to food quality standards.

You will also coordinate daily production activities to meet targets and ensure proper documentation for audits. Responsibilities include QA/QC monitoring, sampling and testing with laboratories, managing Halal certification renewals and regulatory paperwork,

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Quality Management, Manufacturing, Industrial Technology, Halal Management or related field.
• Experience in QA/QC and production operations is preferred.
• Knowledge of Halal/JAKIM and KKM requirements is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain the quality and safety of products throughout the production process.
• Perform routine QA/QC monitoring, inspection and documentation.
• Coordinate product/testing with labs such as ChemLab or relevant facilities.
• Handle and renew Halal certification and related documentation.
• Liaise with authorities like JAKIM, KKM and other regulatory bodies.
• Ensure compliance with Halal, food safety, hygiene and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain records for audits, inspections and certification renewals.
• Coordinate daily production activities to meet targets and schedules.
• Monitor incoming raw materials and outgoing finished products; ensure proper records.
• Coordinate with departments on production planning, stock and delivery needs.
• Monitor machinery and coordinate maintenance and servicing when required.
• Keep production areas and equipment in good condition.
• Assist management in improving production efficiency, quality and compliance.
• Handle other QA/production duties as assigned.

Job Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain the quality and safety of products throughout the production process.
• Perform routine QA/QC monitoring, inspection and documentation.
• Coordinate product/sample testing with ChemLab or other relevant laboratories.
• Handle, maintain and renew Halal certification and related documentation.
• Liaise with relevant authorities such as JAKIM, KKM and other government/regulatory bodies.
• Handle renewal of licences, permits and certifications related to the food manufacturing industry.
• Ensure compliance with Halal, food safety, hygiene and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain proper records and documentation for audits, inspections and certification renewals.
• Coordinate and monitor daily production activities to ensure production targets and schedules are met.
• Monitor incoming raw materials and outgoing finished products to ensure timely movement and proper records.
• Coordinate with relevant departments on production planning, stock and delivery requirements.
• Monitor production machinery and coordinate machine servicing, preventive maintenance and repairs when required.
• Ensure production equipment and working areas are maintained in good condition.
• Assist management in improving production efficiency, product quality and compliance.
• Handle any other QA and production-related duties assigned by management.

Requirements

• Minimum Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Quality Management, Manufacturing, Industrial Technology, Halal Management or other relevant field.
• Preferably with working experience in the Food & Beverage (F&B) / Food Manufacturing industry.
• Experience in QA/QC and production operations is preferred.
• Knowledge and hands-on experience in Halal/JAKIM and KKM requirements will be an added advantage.
• Experience handling Halal certification, licence/permit renewals, audits and regulatory documentation is preferred.
• Able to communicate and liaise effectively with government authorities and external laboratories.
• Good documentation, coordination and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently and coordinate production activities effectively.
