Job summary

Standard Coating (M) Sdn Bhd in Penang invites a Quality Assurance Engineer to work with Production and Engineering to solve quality issues and drive improvements. You will review products, monitor process capability, and coordinate quality activities with internal and customer sides.

Responsibilities

• Solve quality issues with Production and Engineering.
• Review product quality and engage with production to ensure process capability.
• Monitor internal and external quality performance and conduct quality data reviews.
• Coordinate quality improvement activities and conduct process audits.
• Handle internal and customer quality issues and follow up corrective actions.
• Oversee document control and maintain ISO9001 & ISO14001 compliance.
• Support third-party and regulatory audits as needed.
• Data collection, analysis, and driving improvement with data.

Job description

In this role , you will work with Production, Engineering and related department to solve quality issue internally and customer side, coordinate quality improvement activities

Review product quality, and engage with production to ensure process ability and quality meets standard and customers’ requirements.

Control manufacturing process and monitor quality performance both internal & external, review quality data with related persons regularly; Coordinate quality improvement activities for process stability and product quality, to implement process audit and hold quality meeting, etc.;

Handle quality issue happened internally and customer side, implement containment action, investigate the root cause, follow up corrective actions and response to related person/department, and Product Hold process follow up.

Set up process management plan for each product and make sure it been understood and followed;

Guide related persons such as operator and inspector on quality standard and workmanship standard understanding;

Data collecting and analysis, and drive improvement with data;

Implement First Article Inspection and submitted result to customer as need. New product transfer action follow up

Oversee Company Document Control and Quality Management System documentation

Responsible to ensure the development and implementation of Document Control standards, processes, systems and tools in compliance with ISO9001 & ISO14001 standard.

To ensure the documented Quality Management System is reviewed and updated as necessary.

To coordinate third party audits and support regulatory audit with respect to quality system.

Customer Audit .

Requirements

Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related field.
